Congratulations To Jeff Bathurst On Attaining His First Degree Black Belt.

On the 21st of November Soke Morris attended Eastways Jiu Jitsu Club and along with Hanshi Olu Bamgbose and Kyoshi Rob Brettell assessed several students of various grades.The main grading of the night was Jeff Bathurst who started training with Olu Bamgbose in January 1988. Jeff has a lifelong disability and uses a false leg to mobilise. He has never let this disability bother him and has learned to do some techniques better than more able bodied students.

Soke Morris who has known Jeff for over 20 years commented that Jeff‘s grading was of the highest quality and congratulated his Instructor Hanshi Olu Bamgbose on the standard achieved by Jeff on the night he attained his Black Belt first degree.
